moving.

BROWSING, LOOKING, DECIDING, OFFERING, ACCEPTING.

WAITING. Thinking, wondering, stressing, worrying, praying, trusting, thanksgiving.

PACKING. Organizing, tossing, giving, squeezing, stuffing, taping, labeling.

CLEANING
. Spraying, wiping, dusting, scrubbing, vacuuming, washing, drying.

MOVING. Lifting, climbing, straining, stacking, shuffling, sweating, resting.

PAINTING, UNPACKING, ORGANIZING, LIVING.

John and I have been bombarded by all of these emotions and movements in the last couple of weeks and will not be free of them until the end of the month. Thankfully, we have many friends and families members who are willing to help us take on the physical burden of moving and praying for us during the process. With that said, there is much of it that is enjoyable and fun to look forward to as we take another step in who knows what direction!

I have desired to have my own place again since we left the mobile home four years ago. I guess, as a woman, I’ve struggled not having a wall to paint or a home to host, the right size kitchen to enjoy and room to expand. (I admit, most of these things are selfish and materialistic wants, not things that I need.) So after accepting and being okay with the fact that John and I were going to live in an apartment for the next five or six years while he finishes school and not have a ‘place of our own’, the Lord saw fit to provide us with this great opportunity.

Now, this home will not be 100% ours, but it will be ours for now and I am more than grateful. I intend to use this home for the glory of God and am looking forward to how He will give us opportunity to have fellowship and worship within its walls! I want it to be full of praise and singing, a comfortable place for friends and family to rest, rooms full of laughter and good food and a home where John and I begin and end each day together. I can’t wait!
